I love "the Goon." It is always watching. Always.
This is a classic. It just works in that mysterious way that all great art works. The tension of opposites. The fifties clock above the modernist head. The pale colors. The shapes. The light mysteriously illuminating the back field. The striations on one side of the (screen? oven?) subtly commenting on the blinds out of frame.
It just works.
